Summary 

As a Digital Marketing Specialist at Geonetric, you’ll optimize and maintain ongoing campaigns, analyze each advertising channel, and determine targeting and campaign controls to achieve optimal results. You will also collect, analyze, and interpret data from Google Analytics 4 to identify user behavior patterns, track website performance, and provide insights to drive digital marketing strategies. Having a strong understanding of PPC, display, and social media will be essential as well as comfortability with a demand-side platform like Basis.  


Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

While Geonetric employees might get to work on just about anything, this position primarily: 

  • Completes standard, moderately difficult work independently.   

  • Requires guidance and oversight to complete complex work, solve unexpected issues, and make decisions.    

  • Manages established processes, identifies problems, and solves them with assistance.

  • Work on all paid media, including paid social, paid search, streaming audio, online video, display for prospecting and retargeting campaigns, and programmatic media buying.  

  • Collaborate with team members to develop holistic media strategies for clients, leveraging a variety of digital media platforms, and implement changes. 

  • Manage day-to-day set-up, execution, ongoing campaigns, and reports for clients. 

  • Drive accurate performance reporting through campaign tracking and tag setup. 

  • Assist with campaign data analysis and set up campaign configuration.  

  • Set up and develop reports and create engaging client presentations.  

  • Manage landing pages by developing ad copy and creative and performing A/B testing.  

  • Assess and refine GA4 setups across all properties to align with best practices, ensuring accurate data collection and reporting. 

  • Develop personalized measurement plans to support the analytic needs of various clients, providing insights that drive SEO, Paid Ads, and content strategy decisions. 

  • Work with the digital marketing and agency services teams to design and manage tagging specifications, enabling precise tracking of campaigns and user behaviors. Drive accurate performance reporting through campaign tracking and tag setup. 


Education and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field or equivalent experience required 

  • Typically has a minimum of 3 years’ experience  


Professional Skills  

  • Strong communication, presentation, and analytic skills required 

  • Proficiency in digital advertising channels including paid search, paid social, display, video, audio, and programmatic platforms like Basis required 

  • Familiarity with search engine optimization, business listings, social media, and advertising preferred  

  • Experience working with a portfolio of paid media accounts, including managing a budget preferred  

  • Experience in Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Google Analytics, Looker Studio, and Google Tag Manager required  

  • Google Analytics or Google Ads certifications are a plus
