Summary
As a Senior Account Strategist at Geonetric, you’ll work closely with our external healthcare clients and internal digital subject matter experts to help our clients achieve their online initiatives. You’ll guide our products based on client needs. And you’ll act as a consultant, merging web analytics with the latest trends and selling Geonetric products and services to enhance our clients’ digital marketing presence.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

While Geonetric employees might get to work on just about anything, this position primarily:
  • Lead long-term client strategy by understanding clients’ business needs, Geonetric products and services, and the healthcare web market.
  • Manage client accounts, including small to mid-sized clients complicated projects, multiple locations or affiliate organizations,  and clients with multiple-component projects.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Geonetric products and services, as well as digital marketing initiatives.
  • Lead digital strategy sessions with clients, including c-suite executives and committee structures by reviewing and researching client history, identifying market trends, analyzing web data, preparing presentations, and ultimately recommending strategic online initiatives. 
  • Communicate critical client messaging, including to at-risk clients, and related to client escalations.
  • Maintain and expand a strong, positive, and profitable client relationship ensuring account growth and client renewal.
  • Develop and expand client relationships into service line managers and executives.
  • Identify leads, nurture sales opportunities, and recommend additional products and services that meet client’s needs and maximize their investment with Geonetric.
  • Identify, manage, and implement new strategies to ensure a full sales funnel and accurately forecast sales efforts, collaborating across teams and identifying new product opportunities as needed.
  • Recommend enhancements to Geonetric products and services to better meet client needs.
  • Collaborate with Geonetric teams to deliver effective, innovative, unified, cross-team solutions to clients, while balancing client and company needs, ensuring positive client satisfaction and financial results.
  • Serve as a leader on the Account Strategy Team by mentoring others and expanding knowledge around digital and healthcare strategy.
  • Completes complex work independently while understanding and anticipating impacts, including to adjacent work.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert in the discipline, solving unexpected issues, and making decisions. 
  • Manages and defines processes, recommending and executing improvements, efficiencies, and technologies to drive better results. 
  • Develops and executes strategies in collaboration with others, effectively communicating to stakeholders.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent required
  • Typically has a minimum of 5 years’ experience


Professional Skills

  • Experience with strategic marketing required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills, required
  • Ability to communicate effectively with c-suite executives and within a group or committee structure
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required
  • Strong negotiating skills required
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, paid search, and social media preferred
  • Experience with healthcare preferred
