Summary
As a Sales Executive at Geonetric, you’ll be responsible for acquiring new logo sales. You’ll manage Geonetric’s sales efforts by prospecting new opportunities, nurturing long-term relationships with potential clients, using consultative selling to address pain points, and ultimately closing new sales. Working closely with our internal subject matter experts, you’ll recommend products and services based on the prospective client’s needs and communicate market trends to inform new product development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
While Geonetric employees might get to work on just about anything, this position primarily:
Develops the sales strategy for closing new sales opportunities, including projects involving current product offerings as well as undefined new products, deliverables, or strategies.
Identifies, manages, and implements new-sales strategies to ensure a full sales funnel, accurately forecasts sales efforts, and meets or exceeds individual sales goals and key performance indicators.
Generates, develops, and qualifies potential leads with targeted prospects through various prospecting activities, including messaging strategies, cold calling, client referrals, partner relationships, and existing relationships.
Creates and nurtures long-term relationships with potential clients, addressing new questions, overcoming objections, and developing win strategies to advance the opportunity.
Responds to client proposal request by creating the initial scope and outline, collaborating with the proposal writer to customize the content and ensure accuracy and completeness regarding deliverables, time frames, and pricing.
Works with leadership to negotiate price and scope with prospective clients, working closely with internal Geonetric teams on final proposal and contract, ensuring accuracy.
Leads targeted sales presentations and demonstrations customized to the audience/client needs (e.g. c-suite executives, marketing, and IT), working with subject matter experts and other contributors to align messaging and overall win strategy.
Ensures smooth hand-off of new clients to both project and account teams to create a successful project and a valuable, long-term client relationship.
Manages integrity of contact database by adding, deleting, and updating contact information to ensure data is accurate for sales forecasting process.
Identifies target markets, market trends, and common pain points across prospective clients, competitive advantages, and overall themes of the industry and communicate to product teams.
Communicates articulately and persuasively about Geonetric’s products and services, success stories, unique value propositions, and market differentiators and represents us at industry events and speaking engagements.
Serves as a leader on the sales team by mentoring and expanding knowledge around digital, healthcare strategy, and sales strategy.
Participates in marketing initiatives, including campaigns, webinars, and tradeshows, to establish leads and follow up on next steps.
Completes complex, challenging, and advanced work independently while understanding, anticipating, and proactively solving issues within and across disciplines.
Serves as the expert in the discipline, driving vision and innovation, growing Geonetric’s capabilities, and ensuring discipline excellence and consistency.
Integrates strategy and market knowledge when developing new processes, recommending and working with new technologies, and spearheading solutions.
Develops and executes strategies to solve systemic issues, leading the collaboration with others and effectively communicating to stakeholders.

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent required
Typically has a minimum of 4+ years’ sales experience required
Advanced consultative sales experience required
Previous healthcare experience required, preferably with patient engagement, EMR, or other client-facing software
Professional Skills
Advanced analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills required
Advanced oral and written communication skills, including phone, presentation, and negotiating skills required
Experience with website management and digital marketing preferred
