Summary

As the UX & Content Strategy Director at Geonetric, you’ll lead a team of content strategists to craft user-centered strategies, content strategies, web navigation, and information architectures for complex healthcare system websites. You’ll lead the intersection of user experience, business goals, and digital strategy, partnering with web designers, digital marketers, developers, and product stakeholders to create optimal digital experiences for our healthcare clients. Setting UX standards and staying on top of industry trends, you’ll shape the vision, strategy, and direction of our Content Team and ensure every client interaction is purposeful, intuitive, and measurable.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

While Geonetric employees might get to work on just about anything, this position primarily:
  • Defines, evolves, and trains on UX strategies, research methodologies, and best practices and approaches to create content-rich and impactful user experience websites.
  • Develops UX strategies that align user needs with clients’ business goals based on user research and market analysis.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to identify key user journeys, personas, and value propositions. 
  • Conducts or leverages user research, competitive audits, analytics, and stakeholder interviews to inform strategic direction.
  • Analyzes user behavior and analytics to uncover insights and recommend strategic UX improvements. 
  • Works with UX designers and content strategists to ensure consistent, accessible, and cohesive user-centered solutions across platforms. 
  • Aligns wireframing, prototyping, and user flows from a strategic, UX perspective. 
  • Develops and presents strategies, concepts, findings and recommendations to executive stakeholders and clients. 
  • Pushes the boundaries of UX thinking by integrating emerging trends, technologies, and market insights into strategic product offerings and solutions. 
  • Represents the UX discipline in client meetings, workshops, industry events and speaking engagements. 
  • Completes complex, challenging, and advanced work independently while understanding, anticipating, and proactively solving issues within and across disciplines. 
  • Serves as the expert in the work of the team, driving vision and innovation, growing Geonetric’s capabilities, and ensuring discipline excellence and consistency. 
  • Integrates strategy and market knowledge when developing new processes, recommending and working with new technologies, and spearheading solutions.
  • Develops and executes strategies to solve systemic issues, leading the collaboration with others and effectively communicating to stakeholders.
  • Manages team members with guidance by setting and communicating clear expectations, providing feedback, maintaining transparency and accountability, mentoring and fostering growth, addressing performance concerns, and resolving conflicts.
  • Leads the team with guidance by aligning the team’s strategy and vision with Geonetric’s goals and successfully executing on that vision, ensuring efficiency, productivity, effectiveness, and profitability.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in design, information sciences, human computer interaction (HCI) or related field required
  • Typically has a minimum of 8 years’ experience
 

Professional Skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively with C-Suite level executives and client stakeholders required
  • Exceptional skills in creative problem-solving and strategic thinking required
  • Experience applying UX research and best practices to websites
  • Experience creating web navigation, information architecture, and content strategies required
  • Experience creating UX deliverables required
  • Familiarity with a digital experience platform (DXP) or web content management system (CMS) preferred
