As a Web Content Strategist & Writer, you’ll help our healthcare clients tell their brand story. You’ll work on a team to address website structure and content needs and deliver strategic solutions efficiently to our clients and to key stakeholders within their organizations. You’ll provide advice and support to clients about creating engaging experiences for and communicating with their audiences. You’ll also make recommendations about content strategy and information architecture, edit Web pages and write original Web content. In addition, you may write or edit other marketing materials for print, video, radio, and social media.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

While you might get to work on just about anything at Geonetric, you’ll primarily:

  • Combine data analysis, user research, content audits and other sources to determine ways client websites can improve user experience and engagement
  • Interview various client stakeholders to understand client business goals, brand differentiators, target audiences, and website tone and voice
  • Inventory and analyze current Web content and other relevant source materials and perform gap analysis
  • Create and recommend revised information architecture/structure and navigation for clients’ websites, sections or pages
  • Use superior writing skills to create clear, concise, compelling and accurate healthcare-specific Web content and/or marketing and social media campaigns using client style guides and SEO best practices
  • Align content with organizational goals and provide trackable calls to action
  • Present strategic recommendations to clients, including C-suite and board-of-directors stakeholders
  • Review and edit client materials for consistency, tone and voice, grammatical accuracy, editorial style, and user understanding
  • Assist clients in maintaining Web content

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, communication, journalism, marketing, or related field required
  • 4+ years of previous experience in related field required
  • Experience with healthcare topics and terms required
  • Experience with website structure, strategy and Web writing required
  • Experience with content management systems preferred
  • General marketing experience preferred

Professional Skills

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills required
  • Excellent proofreading and grammatical skills required
  • Proficiency in MS Office products including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel required
