Are you a go-to pro when it comes to SEO? You might be a perfect match for our strategist position. As Geonetric’s SEO strategist, you’ll work with our healthcare clients to increase online traffic and conversions through organic search strategies. You’ll help our clients define their digital marketing goals, dig into their data, and assess their current initiatives. Then, you’ll provide strategic digital marketing guidance based on your knowledge of SEO best practices and implement the work you recommend. As a member of our creative digital marketing team, you’ll also contribute to additional digital marketing projects, including PPC, analytics, social media, and more. If you understand search engine algorithms and web analytics programs, have performed competitive/keyword research and link analyses, and love to share your SEO knowledge with others, apply today.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

While you might get to work on just about anything at Geonetric, you’ll primarily:

  • Work directly with clients to establish goals and strategies as well as present recommendations and solutions that align search strategy with clients’ website and organizational goals
  • Understand the personality of each client in order to recommend unique digital solutions specific to them
  • Assess the health of client sites and search profiles, create reports based on your findings, and work across teams to present findings to clients
  • Identify upsell opportunities based on website performance and analytics data
  • Implement, use, and maintain SEO software tools to identify, diagnose, and monitor search-related issues
  • Establish search-related processes and guidelines for the team
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and internal consultant on SEO to other teams
  • Share knowledge with internal and external clients by mentoring, training, blogging, and speaking on search strategy
  • Develop and implement digital marketing strategies for clients in other related areas, including PPC, tracking and analytics, UX, social media, business listings, email and more

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field required
  • 5+ years of SEO experience required
  • SEO best practices experience required
  • Google Search Console experience required
  • Experience with SEO tools (Moz, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, etc.) required
  • Google Analytics experience required; additional analytics platforms preferred
  • Google Tag Manager experience preferred
  • Paid search strategy and Google AdWords experience preferred
  • Strategic marketing experience preferred
  • Content marketing experience preferred

Professional Skills

  • Direct client experience required
  • Experience presenting recommendations to clients and/or leading trainings, workshops, etc., required
  • Website data analysis experience required
  • Google Analytics Certification preferred
  • Google AdWords Certification preferred
  • Bing Ads Accredited Professional Certification preferred
  • Knowledge of current web design best practices/capabilities required
