In this role, you’ll focus on identifying potential clients, developing relationships with them, driving the sales process and closing business. You’ll promote Geonetric’s products and services in a way that adds value to potential healthcare clients. And then you’ll move them through the sales funnel, from relationship to demonstration to contract negotiations. To be successful, you need strong organization skills, a proven sales track record, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

While you might get to work on just about anything at Geonetric, you’ll primarily:

  • Manage a full sales cycle by identifying new prospects, qualifying them, negotiating contracts, presenting remote and onsite demonstrations, and consistently closing sales to achieve monthly activity and revenue goals
  • Build and maintain a sales pipeline; generate leads through cold calling as well manage leads provided by the business development specialist and marketing efforts
  • Communicate effectively and present to C-suite executives and committee structures
  • Learn and demonstrate the benefits of all Geonetric products, services and solutions
  • Maintain the integrity of our customer relationship management database by ensuring data is accurate and up to date
  • Attend key tradeshows to build relationships with both prospective and current customers and raise awareness of Geonetric
  • Assist with RFP responses by collaborating with the proposal writer to ensure accuracy and completeness in regards to deliverables, timeframes, and pricing
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with co-workers in a team-based environment
  • Ensure smooth hand-off of new clients to implementation team
  • Serve as a mentor to other sales team members
  • Be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment; you must have a drive to succeed, bring a high level of energy and commit to achieving your sales goals.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors’ Degree required
  • 7+ years of related sales experience required
  • Previous experience in healthcare preferred
  • Previous phone experience required
  • Previous presentation experience required

Professional Skills

  • Strong oral and written communication skills required; including phone skills and presentation skills
  • Basic knowledge of website design preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word required
  • Ability to communicate effectively with C-Suite level executives and within a group or committee structure required
  • Strong analytical, reasoning, and problem solving skills required
  • Strong negotiating skills required
